After you first contact me, I offer a free 20 minute consultation so that we can talk by phone about your situation and how I can help. To get started, please send me a phone number and some best times to reach you.
My appointment hours are Monday through Friday mornings and early afternoons Pacific Time. I am usually booked about one to two months in advance. After the first appointment, you have the option to book online through my scheduling website. If you are unable to get an appointment in the near future, you may add yourself to a cancellation list.

Note: My sliding scale caseload is presently full. I reserve a portion of my practice and reduce my fee for people with low to no financial support, savings, or income due to disability, unemployment, etc. Clients who pay the regular fee or higher help to make my counselling work more accessible for people struggling to make ends meet.
For services provided outside of office sessions, such as phone calls, consultations with other professionals, and report writing, the above hourly rates may vary and will be charged for each 15 minute interval.
Crime Victim Assistance Program
I am approved to see clients with Crime Victim Assistance funding, which covers a portion of my fee ($80 per session). You may be eligible if you have been physically or psychologically injured from a violent crime, or while trying to intervene in a crime in BC after July 1, 1972. See here for more information.

Chinatown Office Accessibility
Near major transit routes with a parkade across the street. The building has a non-automatic entrance door. I can assist with opening the door upon arrival if needed. There is an elevator with sufficient space for a wheelchair. The washrooms are gendered. Each washroom has two stalls, can accommodate a wheelchair, and requires a key from my office. My counselling office has a bamboo hardwood floor and can accommodate a wheelchair. There is natural lighting from a skylight. Seating is a large sofa that can accommodate bodies of different sizes, and there are also cushions and a foot stool. You are welcome to contact me if you have any questions or accessibility needs before your session.
Fragrance Free Policy
I request that clients arrive fragrance-free, in order to support accessibility for practitioners and clients who live with allergies and environmental illnesses. Please use fragrance-free laundry, hair, and body products when coming to see me, and refrain from wearing clothing that has had exposure to items such as perfume and cologne. You are most welcome to ask me about products and resources that can assist you in keeping fragrance-free.
I offer telephone and video counselling appointments for clients who have relocated or are not able to access on-site therapy.
Rates depend on the services requested (e.g., consulting, conducting interviews, advising on methodology, recruitment, statistical or qualitative analysis). Typically, rates range from $1000-$1600 per day.
